
Born and raised in Halifax, Craig is a proud husband and father to 3 children. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts at Saint Mary’s University, his Bachelor of Education at Acadia University, and his Masters of Education at Mount Saint Vincent University. Craig began his career as a teacher in 2005 and has been a School Principal within the Halifax Regional Centre of Education for the last 13 years. In 2017, Craig was named one of Canada’s Outstanding Principals while he was the Principal at Chebucto Heights Elementary School. In addition to his experience in Education, Craig has also worked at Saint Andrew’s Recreation Centre as a program developer and afterschool program supervisor for 12 years, prior to becoming a teacher.
